    Uws 238

UWS 238 is due back from the printers on Wednesday. We'll be posting them out from Manchester as soon as they arrive. We'll also be selling the mag at Everton away and Norwich at home for £2 a copy. Plans to sell against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final were cancelled due to foreseen circumstances.

    Here's a look at what's inside.

The Editorial looks at United's season and the issues surrounding the proposed singing section at Old Trafford.

Guttersnipe looks at United's next merchandise deal, season tickets and differences of opinion on the bench.

After a United We Stand investigation, we can also reveal how taxpayers have been subsidising Manchester City for two-and-half years.

There's an exclusive interview with top Manchester boxer and match going red Anthony Crolla.

Pete Molyneux writes about hitching to Anfield in 1969.

We've got a report on the trip to Munich from Steve A.

There's Joe Ganley on Darren Fletcher, James Scowcroft on Alex Buttner and Jim White on Munich, sample:

"For 73 seconds it seemed the ridiculous was about to come true. For just about the time it takes prematurely to uncork a bottle of champagne or to issue a proposal of marriage to the sizeable stranger with whom you have just been jumping around in triumph, it looked as though United would beat Bayern Munich and keep the most ludicrous of Champions League qualification dreams alive for another fortnight. For just over a minute, we could all dream silly dreams.
"And then, reality intruded. A mere five passes after Patrice Evra had cannon-balled United into the lead, Bayern had restored the natural order. From there, only one outcome was likely. From that point on, the United players looked as if they didn’t have a clue how to proceed."

There's a four page extract from the new book on the Inter City Jibbers.

Transmission has an interview with the Tea Street Band while Reds Around The World looks at the Sydney Reds. Next month is the Tehran Reds.

Irish historian Brian Hanley writes us a fascinating piece on the history of Reds in Ireland.

Season In Brief looks at '78-79.

Plus all the regulars including They Bleed Red White & Black, Ian Bland, Ask the Anorak, Meatbag Manifesto, Mad Cyril, HWIFY, RevUWS book review, Reserves and Youth, Mad Cyril, Twitter, Getting Away With It, James Scowcroft on Alex Butter, Style Council on Walsh trainers and We'll Meet Again with a Norwich fan.

You can subscribe to the printed issue of the mag now and we'll post it on Wed.
Or download a copy of the digital edition.

The mag will be on sale in the usual newsagents over Easter.
